• Golf:

  Our three 9-hole courses, The Lakes, The Foothills, and The Mountain make up 27 holes of Jack Nicklaus Signature golf. The course, a U.S. Open Regional Qualifying Site, is situated along wooded valleys with lush foliage, following the natural contours of Edwards Mountain and winding through the neighborhoods of Governors Club. The 600-foot elevation changes reveal some never ending vista as well as the spectacular beauty of stonewalls, rocky creeks, and soaring maple and pine trees. Our golf practice facilities provide the size and variety to help to ensure preparedness for your next round. Our golf program has very active MGA and WGA programs. In addition we have a “Golfers in Training” program targeted towards women who are just getting started in the world of golf as well as a Junior Golf Program.

• Wellness & Recreation:

  The goal of the Wellness Program at Governors Club is to provide enjoyable activities that lead to healthy living. The 12,000 square foot fitness facility offers a wide range of daily classes from time-tested step-aerobics and body sculpt to fresh new innovative sessions of yogalates and water aerobics. In addition, the wellness center has all of the most updated LifeFit cardio and strength training equipment in addition to a range of free weights. The indoor pool is open year round for designated lap swim, water aerobics and free swim. Swimming lessons are available as well. The Wellness and Recreation Center also provides certified personal trainers and aquatics specialists on premises to guide each member in their personal needs and fitness goals. In addition, Governors Club is proud of its brand new tennis facilities and programs. Six lighted hydro tennis courts as well as two (cushioned) hard courts anchor a full service Tennis and Recreation shop. Our Tennis Program is comprehensive to be sure to welcome beginners to the sport while introducing children through clinics and camps. Competitive players are serviced through robust conditioning and opportunity. A full calendar of tennis events include Men’s Night, an exhilarating Annual Pro-Am Tournament, the USTA Governors Club Junior Futures Tournament, the Adult and Junior Club Championships and Demo Days. Governors Club boasts six USTA adult teams and three Interclub adult teams that participate outside of the Club along with a Junior Program consisting of four groups ranging from age 4 to 16.

• Membership:

  Governors Club is an association of diverse individuals who share common social and recreational interests. Its a social organization that provides its members with facilities and services that support these interests and foster an elegant and fun atmosphere. While our most valuable physical asset is represented by our 27 holes of golf, it is truly the members of Governors Club that form the real asset of the club and because of this our theme is camaraderie. The Club hosts more than 100 events a year. From book signings and comedy dinners to Investors Club, its easy to find those who share your passions.
