Landfall is a private 2,200-acre historic waterfront estate property of lakes, ponds and nature walking trails managed by a debt free Homeowners’ Association, which also manages the roads, common areas and private security services for the community. All utilities and cable services are underground.

The focal point of Landfall is the member-owned Country Club of Landfall, offering 45 holes of golf: 27 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus and 18 crafted by Pete Dye. The Country Club of Landfall is the home course for the University of North Carolina-Wilmington’s Seahawk Men’s and Women’s Golf Teams, and in 2010, hosted the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championship.
