  River Landing is a private gated community with admittance by property owner pass or temporary guest pass. The gate is manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• Championship Caliber Golf:

  Each of the 36 holes on the River and Landing courses presents an exciting challenge to players of all abilities, and immense personal pride to those who play them well. On several occasions the courses have hosted the qualifying events for the U.S. Open. Renowned golf architect Clyde Johnston made brilliant use of the land, river and lakes to create a premier standard for the game while at the same time preserving lush greenbelt expanses and beautiful vistas for the River Landing community to enjoy.

• The River Landing Clubhouse:

  Completed in April 2009 and now in full operation, the Clubhouse has become the social center of the community. Wide open terraces on two levels are perfect places to meet with friends, enjoy and outdoor meal, sip a refreshing drink and marvel at the panoramic lake and golf course views. A Grand Ballroom, several smaller meeting rooms, intimate locker facilities and lounges, several dining rooms and other spaces. Our Clubhouse was built with the comfort, ease and enjoyment of our residents in mind.

  Our 17,000 square foot Fitness Center is equipped with state-of-the-art fitness and exercise equipment, indoor and outdoor pools, Har-Tru tennis courts, sauna, member rooms, a barbeque area and more. The River Lodge is an open air pavilion located on the banks of the Northeast Cape Fear River. Perfect for member gatherings and social occasions, the facility also provides boat storage for canoe and kayak enthusiasts who recreate on the river. Miles of walking, biking and jogging trails meander through the community’s neighborhoods. Catch and release fishing is popular in 53 well-stocked lakes and ponds.

• Activities Outside The Gates:

  The town of Wallace is moments away for quick necessities shopping. The North Carolina port city of Wilmington is just 35 minutes away via I-40 and offers a wide variety of shopping, dining, entertainment and cultural activities to enjoy. The state capital of Raleigh, just ninety minutes away and offers every activity one might expect from a major metropolitan area, including professional and college sports events and concerts. River Landing also conducts frequent field trips to points of interest throughout the state for residents to enjoy.

• Health Care:

  Some of the nation’s top medical facilities are close by River Landing. Pender Memorial Hospital and Duplin General Hospital are just moments away. Wilmington offers two fully-staffed hospitals, The New Hanover Regional Medical Center and Cape Fear Memorial Hospital. In addition, the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill and Duke University Medical Center are located within two hours of the community.

  Homesites at River Landing are set in neat, quiet neighborhoods with fairway, riverfront, lakefront and wooded orientations. Prices range from approximately $85,000 to $599,000 as defined by homesite size and location. There is no time requirement for the construction of custom homes; property owners may build when they wish.
