At Hampton Lake, it's all about the water. Located in Bluffton, SC,
Hampton Lake is the Hilton Head area's premier private lake community and was
awarded both the “Best Community in America” and the “Best
Community Facility” (for the impressive completed Lakeside Amenity
Village) designations.* The jewel of the community is the 165-acre freshwater
lake that includes seven miles of navigable waterways and 15 miles of

Smaller boats are required to have smaller horsepower engines (10-15 hp for boats 17-19 feet). All gas engines must be 4 cycle. Community offers canoe and kayak storage and lakeside boat ramp.

The lake has been designed with a variety of underwater habitats to enhance fish production of Tiger Bass (Largemouth Bass), hybrid Striped Bass, Copper-Nose Blue Gill and Shellcracker. The “Nature Guy” is the Club’s fishing guide and nature expert.

Approximately 9 miles of hiking and biking trails wind throughout nature preserves, along waterways and around the perimeter of the community.

Choose from a family-oriented resort-style pool with a central island and lazy river (Adventure Lagoon), an adults only pool with shades and cabanas (Cool Pool), a children’s water play area with squirting pelicans and bubblers (Shrimp’s Puddle), or a sandy beach.

Boathouse:
Doc’s Boathouse includes boats for member use, an interpretive nature center (Mother Nature’s) and a convenience store that supplies bait, tackle, clothing and merchandise (The Tackle Box).

The Outpost includes covered sites for 4-8 person tents, picnic pavilion, fire rings, bathhouses, fishing rod stands, clothes drying racks, canoe and kayak storage and launch.

Dog Paddle Park includes a 5’ fire hydrant, sand pit, convenience station and picnic/rest shelters.
